LIVE WEBINAR FOR CLINICIANS & CARE PARTNERS

Wednesday, November 20, 2024
1:00 PM - 4:30 PM EST

Help memory-impaired populations learn new information and skills using Spaced Retrieval (SR), an evidence-based intervention for persons with dementia, traumatic brain injury, and other neurologic disorders. Join renowned Gerontologist Dr. Cameron Camp and Dementia Care Consultant Valerie Greco to learn about the basic steps for implementing Spaced Retrieval, including how to avoid common mistakes. Clinicians will gain information on how to bill for applying SR and enable referrals to be made, as well as how to sustain the effects of therapy.

What you'll learn:

  • Why SR can be provided successfully to patient populations often characterized as being unable to learn new information
  • How to avoid the most common pitfalls made when implementing SR.
